The Mosaic Parade

On day two, a downtown parade of representatives from as many cultures as possible will kick off the next festivities. This parade is a way for as many communities as possible to come together to showcase their different cultures through costumes and dance, as diverse as we are, we are united. With a great reception from the people of Halifax at Mosaic Festival 18, we are ecstatic to bring all the community together again through our parade. The parade will kick off at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 and flow through lower water street and end at the salter lot on the waterfront.

How to participate:

We invite representatives from any of Halifax and beyond communities to participate in the festivities! Mosaic Festival of Arts and Culture 2019 is going to be even bigger and better than last year- and we want the most diverse group we can have to make this possible. If you are interested in participating in any part of Mosaic Festival, please reach out and we can arrange a time for a call to discuss your potential involvement.

Mosaic Festival 2018 was an incredible event, and our team is so excited to see it go further and grow. It is our honour and privilege to have the opportunity to prove that diversity truly is our strength, and to be able to allow the people of Halifax to explore the beauty of the countless communities found in their city and beyond.
