The Mosaic Festival & Parade

A downtown parade of representatives from the wide array of cultural groups around Halifax will take place. This parade serves as a way for these countless groups in our region to come together and proudly showcase what makes them who they are, while showing that, despite our differences, we are united! The parade will kick off at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 and then travel down Lower Water St where it will end at the Salter Lot on the waterfront.

There will also be a day-long series of performances of song, dance and more from around the globe! While you enjoy the show, you will have the opportunity to experience the abundance of different cultures found within Halifax through vendors selling food, clothing and more. It will be a journey around the world without leaving the Halifax waterfront!
